I'm an experienced writer with a solid background in marketing, sales
and PR copywriting, and corporate communications. For more than 7 years,
I've consistently crafted clear, results-driven copy for clients in industries
ranging from call centers and commercial collections to alternative energy
development, university-level programs, and instrument calibration.
Writing has always been a strong suit for me. Before launching Words
that Work, I sharpened my copywriting and corporate communication
skills while serving as marketing administrator for an international receivables
management firm. I then expanded the scope of my writing experience as
senior copywriter for a marketing communications company. In addition
to marketing and corporate communications, my background includes insurance
services management, elementary education, and international social services
and outreach administration.
As an avid reader and life-long learner, I have the ability to grasp
new areas of knowledge quickly. That, together with a lively curiosity,
natural gift for language and bent toward organization, has contributed
to my success in meeting clients' expectations while thriving on the variety
and challenges of freelance copywriting.
My formal education includes a BA in Business Administration from Ohio
